This portable fire extinguisher stand meets all requirements on a job site, at an event, or anywhere that it is impractical to permanently install a fire extinguisher. OSHA requirements cover the size, class, and placement of fire extinguishers within a job site as well as signage indicating the location of the extinguisher so that it can be quickly located in the event of a fire. NFPA states that the extinguisher must be installed at least 4 inches off the ground and at a maximum height of 5 feet. You should also refer to any local fire codes to determine the class, number, and placement of extinguishers. Our stands meet all requirements for temporary installation of fire extinguishers between 5 and 20 pounds.
